    • A natural remedy that can be poured into a pad to reduce swelling and sooth itchiness or burning sensations
  • Peri Bottle
    • A must have for cleansing the perineal region and reducing infection
    • The hospital may provide one, but if you are planning to give birth at home or a birthing centre, you may have to purchase one yourself.

    • Ensure the brand is breastfeeding-safe by the pharmacist or your midwife/doctor
    • Take immediately after birth, trust me, you’ll be happy you did!
  • Colostrum Collector
    • Used to collect colostrum (the first milk that comes out of a mother’s breasts the first 2-4 days)

  • Energy rich snacks for labour
    • Dates
    • Cashews/Almonds
    • Granola bar

  • Slippers
    • ‘Cause you don’t want to be bear foot at the hospital or have to wear shoes in labour.
  • Notebook & Pen
    • Incase of separation, journaling/praying is an important part of your journey to peace and power. Read these prayers or thoughts over your baby when you see them in the NICU
